Handcrafted in Nova Scotia, each of these candles offers a beautiful (the pics really don't do them justice) and one-of-a-kind design; a warm, glowing ambiance; and a delightful scent to your home.
When the candle burns out (after about 40 hours), you can re-purpose the vessel as a plant pot to eliminate waste. The left-over wax can be melted with a blow dryer and removed with paper towel and you can drill a drainage hole.
Concrete is porous and to ensure no wax seepage occurs during burning, these vessels are thoroughly sealed. First, they are treated with environmentally-friendly Tung Oil, allowed to cure (a full 30 days) and then treated again with an Earth-safe (VOC-free) sealer that's made specifically for concrete candle vessels. Each candle comes with three silicone bumpers on the bottom, to protect you countertops.
My process has been tested and refined over years to develop the cleanest and safest of concrete candles, with the most appropriately sized wick. If you do experience any issue with your candle though, please let me know, as this product requires the utmost attention to detail.
